Fall is FINALLY here! Nights are getting colder (hitting in the upper 30s already) and days are usually in the 60s. I love it! Fall in New England is breathtaking and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. We went out yesterday, on Joe’s last day of vacation, and took some photos of the early stages of the fall foliage. Right now, the reds and oranges are the only colors really out in force. Unfortunately, the reds and oranges fall quickly and then you’re just left with yellow. And we’re in the middle of a big rain storm (supposed to get upwards of 4-5 inches of rain before Sunday) which will help those reds and oranges fall off the trees.
Joe took all of these and did what they call HDR or High Dynamic Range. If you check out the following link, it’ll explain it a little bit more. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qud=20080815071029AAzgBmF
This is my favorite shot of the day.
And I can’t leave out the new pup!
Isn’t he the cutest?
