Fall Is Here!

Fall is FINALLY here! Nights are getting colder (hitting in the upper 30s already) and days are usually in the 60s. I love it! Fall in New England is breathtaking and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. We went out yesterday, on Joe’s last day of vacation, and took some photos of the early stages of the fall foliage. Right now, the reds and oranges are the only colors really out in force. Unfortunately, the reds and oranges fall quickly and then you’re just left with yellow. And we’re in the middle of a big rain storm (supposed to get upwards of 4-5 inches of rain before Sunday) which will help those reds and oranges fall off the trees.

Newport, NH – Corbin Covered Bridge

Last year we were out driving and found this quaint little park near a covered bridge in Newport. It was such a nice place to take photos that we decided to go back and take more!

More Puppy Pictures

I know, I know. You’re already getting tired of the puppy pics. Sorry, we can’t help it. It’s an addiction! These are from the last couple of days.

As soon as I went to bed last night, the mutt stole my seat and promptly made himself comfortable. Damn, he’s just like one of the kids. No wonder he fits in so well here.
